How we classify changes
- Corrected: the page previously stated something that was wrong or has become wrong. The substantive text is changed and the change is logged.
- Updated: new material facts have been added. The prior text was not incorrect at time of writing.
- Improved: structural, technical, or editorial change with no effect on factual claims.
- Retracted: a claim has been withdrawn. The original wording is preserved and struck through rather than deleted.
We do not silently edit factual claims. Vendor profiles carry a “last reviewed” date and every profile is re-verified on a scheduled cycle. See the editorial policy for our sourcing standards and independence commitments.
